file formats: For best results, supply TIF files. Files supplied
in other formats or files containing features such as layers or
transparency may have to be reworked at additional cost and delay.
If additional work is needed, you will be contacted with an estimate
before work begins.
It's
often more convenient to create your files at 1/4 of their actual
size. We will enlarged them to the correct size when we print
them. Just remember to provide adequate resolution for the final
size of output.
Image
resolution: 100 dpi @ full size (= 400 dpi if files are provided
@ 1/4 size).
Image
bleed: banner stands - 1/4" @ full size, pop ups - 1"
@ full size (= 1/16" and 1/4" @ 1/4 size).
Design
tips:
- Avoid
positioning important text or logos directly on the edges of
your design. On pop up displays, try to prevent text characters
or logos falling directly on or crossing panel seams. On banner
stands, avoid placing critical elements of your design near
the bottom of the graphic, where they could roll into the case
and be obscured.
- If
you're using your display at a trade show, keep important elements
of the design (such as text and logos) in the top half to third
of the design they will be more visible.
- Your
display is a billboard not a brochure keep your design
simple and uncluttered.
- A
single dynamic image with a simple, bold message works better
than small images accompanied by too much text.
